Full on Friday

Today, I took the day off from the studio and planned an epic tourist day. Early in the morning, there was a flea market in Arnhem centrum. There were antiques, “junk” selling as antiques, fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, and many bolts of fabric and notions.

After that, I cycled to Arnhem Centraal station and spent a whole euro and half to get my bike valet parked in the bike parkade (for real!); I spent the rest of the day in Amsterdam. It was not enough time to see much, but I managed to visit the Van Gogh museum and did a canal cruise of the city. It is truly a beautiful city rich with history.
