Kasterlee

I am at my half-way point in my travels. This past weekend, I was in Antwerp, which is a beautiful and fun city. However, after spending 3 nights in a hotel, I started to feel homesick. It’s difficult to be always on the go and living out of a suitcase.

It was nice to arrive in Kasterlee. It felt familiar and I was able to get started quickly. At the moment, the residency at FMC seems quiet with only 5 residents. Last year, it was full, fun, busy, and chaotic (with the volcano and all). Also, although I shipped my art supplies in July, they have not yet arrived here yet. Sometimes, you do all you can to be prepared, but you are still unprepared in the end.
