Today is actually nice out in Kasterlee. The morning was warm and clear, but now it’s kind of overcast but still warm. At times, I think this part of my residency has been somewhat jinxed. I tried to proof my polymer plates, but they are not printing well. I think it has a lot to do with the press. Had my supplies had arrived, I would be able to place it on my plexi base. It does not look good. If it is still not working by Monday, I will have to screen the text as opposed to printing them on a relief press. Crap.

At the moment there is very little that I can do, but make pumpkin and meatball soup. Kasterlee is a village known for its pumpkins. A stone statue of a pumpkin is in front of the town centrum. They also host a pumpkin regatta at the end of October. I bought a kilogram of pumpkin at the Wednesday legumes markt, so here’s hoping the soup will work out.
