Printing for Ada

Hello. Still alive here…kind of.

I haven’t printed too much lately because I just became a mum a few months ago. I managed to print on the Vandercook and tabletop press at 36 weeks pregnant. It’s pretty tough when you have to brace the press! I made a set of alphabet flash cards and a sign for the baby’s room. I also made sure her nursery was decorated with all things letterpress: Hatch posters and prints I made. Hopefully, she will appreciate them when she is older.

I also screen printed at 37 weeks pregnant and that too was challenging. The glow in the dark birth announcements turned out pretty nice though.

Today I was thinking about how much I missed printing, but soon I will be back at it…one day!
