River Rhine

My apartment is located directly across from the Rhine river. It’s pretty neat especially since I enjoy people watching or as Ted calls it “spying”. The river is so close that I am pretty sure that I can shoot a Nerf ball into it from my bedroom window.

Right now there are some shirtless guys waving some nunchucks around and 30 ft to their right is a guy with a fishing pole. Across the river bank are some small children wading with their family dog.

Last night, I thought I heard gunshots, but it was just a small fireworks display. Most of the time I see a small herd of cows, barges and tug boats sailing up and down the river, and a short cruise/party boats which I have been told were most likely heading to Germany.
