S-s-s-tudio

I have been printing the pages of my book for the past two days. Mars is, indeed, a Dutch master, so far he has shown me so many important steps in preparing to print for my book. He also showed me how to print using a one-arm industrial press. I feel very grateful to be learning from grandmaster Mars.

So far the printing is going well. I am a bit slow, but I hope to finish printing all the pages by tomorrow.

Here are some studio snapshots and a picture of the bike that July at PlaatsMaken has lent me for the duration of my residency. I thoroughly enjoyed my first bicycle traffic jam during today’s rush hour.

ps: It’s really cold here; I am wearing sweaters and had to sleep with two comforters last night.
